Construction is progressing smoothly with the US Zen Institute Relics Addition thanks to close collaboration between the contractor and architect.

Ground face block facade partially installed with bond beams over future interior doors and windows. Exterior stud and plywood walls have been erected on main structure and roofing underlayment has been installed.

Starting the footings and foundation of the Relics Addition during extremely cold weather was a challenge that was met by Hubert Construction and their concrete subcontractor..

CMU block and reinforced concrete foundation walls along with the reinforced concrete slab were installed after the footings passed inspection. Sub-grade foundation drains and waterproofing were installed.
April 2, 2026
Steel frame has been erected and all welds inspected. Framing starts next.
